This drilling ship is purposed for drilling of pioneer
and exploratory oil and gas wells for the depth up to
6500 m at the sea depth of 70-300 m. The ship moves
between the working areas on her own, including passing
through the fields following the ice-breaker.
The precision of ship’s retention over the well is:
at the depth of 100 m from the sea bottom 5.8%, at the
depth of 200-300 m from the sea bottom 4.0%.
Main
technical parameters.
The ship is a one-decker with intermediate platforms
with excessive underwater board, long foredeck and poop,
deck forward housing, deck aft machine room and midship
under-derrick frame. The ship has two shrouded CP propellers,
five water-jet thrusters. The hull is anti-corrosion
cathode protected.
All the living quarters and service accommodations
are equipped with single channel medium speed system
of year-round air conditioning providing individual
temperature adjustment.
The integral electrical generating plant consists of
6 main Wartsila (Finland) automated diesel generators
with capacity of 2250 kWt, one harbour diesel generator
DGR 2A800 P50 with capacity of 800 kWt, two emergency
diesel generators A DGR 200/1500 with capacity of 200
kWt each, two boilers with total capacity of 3 t/h.
Fuels for the main engines are low-viscosity L type
and medium-viscosity diesel fuel and mazut.
